Default problems after problems! help!

hi i posted a thread the other week about my boosting issues and £800 later i still have boosting issues! but thats not the big problem now, i took it to perfect touch in hoddleston (herts) to sort out my boosting problem and they came bk with 2 air pipes leaking so i said go ahead with the work.
Air pipes changed and it was still having boosting problems so they put it on the rolling road and said i have a faulty boost controller! so i went to pick up the car and the car would not start, i have never had a problem with my car starting so they checked the spark plugs and fuel and everything was fine so i had to leave the car there so they could find the problem!
nxt day got a fone call saying the car started fine first time so i picked it up and the idleling when i started it was everywhere up,down,up n down. couple of tweks later he sorted it.
Every since they took my car its been running like a bag of ****!
when i put my foot down slowly on the pedal it takes about 2 sec to react!
and when i stop my revs hit the bottom about 200revs so i look like a prat at the traffic lights reving my engine up but it doesnt do it all the time last night was fine but this morning it was really bad every gear change just nothing put my foot down and no reaction and then splut and a pop and it goes any help would be appreciated dont really fancy spending another £800 on nothing!
cheers

ye defo check your coil packs...if you do it yourself makesure you take them out as straight as possable or you may break them yourself. if you say the plugs were checked though then they would have had to take the coilpacks out to get to them so they should have seen if they were broken. but who knows...did they look at the plugs or not! i always wonder!

not being funny mate thats what you get if you take it to someone who doesnt know what they're doing, and £800 for changing a boost solenoid and a couple of pipes!!!!!!!!!! my god i'd be straight back demanding they put the car right or give me my money back.

£ 800 was £500 for subaru for a full service and 300 was for perfect touch and i thought they would of sorted the problem as they are a tuning garage i thought they would know what there doing!
guess i was wrong!
and yea i have a baileys dump valve.
when i went bk to them they said all they have done is change the pipes and rolling road so the problem is not there fault!

fit a standard dv and ditch the baileys mate... i didnt know you had one fitted.. these can cause all sorts of issues...over fueling, hesitation, flat spots etc. before you do anything else get a standard one fitted and see how that is

Given where you are, ask Jolly Green Machine to come and inspect it.
100 different answers off the internet on a non-specific problem "may" just help but is equally confusing.
It really needs a Subaru specialist to sort through the stuff added and see it in the flesh.

£300 sounds quite typical for hunting in the dark diagnosis work by a non-specialist garage, who also has different ideas of what a smooth idle is.

Was one of the pipes replaced the one which contains the restrictor pill? If so did they put the pill back in? If they didn't this might help>

I have recently had simular problems after fitting a h&s decat pipe. It's been suggested to me that it might be the boost solenoid breaking down. I have just got a 3 port one which everyone has suggested.

Not fitted yet but i'll let you know.
