Whats the max, 2 bar on the Defi? You can change the alarm point on the controller. is it Teed of the dump valve hose?

You could have a loose boost hose to the wastegate actuator, mine was split.

I knew instantly because my Phormula knock alarm went off, and the Monaro went past me as I headed for the slip-road....

DON'T drive it at 2 bar of boost, you'll kill it ! Assuming it's not a fully forged engine build.

P.S. I did and it must have had 460 bhp..... for about ten seconds !

P.P.S. If you actually mean the alarm is going off at around 1.7 bar.... then read the manual, on-line if necessary....
