guys im wondering if anyones experienced a turbo failure but saw the signs early on of ANY problem?

my golf's turbo has started to whine a little similar to 'engine rpm interference' on a poorly setup ice install, so it goes with acceleration making it sound like theres a police siren in the distance until you stop

just a bit worried as iv got atleast a 3hr round trip 2mo so wondering how long it will last!!

 

Most whines are due to pipe leaks, check those first!
