hi mate,just done this myself,u want to get the 2 small pipes that come on the black oe 99-00 tmic.(not the y pipe,just the bits that bolt to the tmic.)then buy the my99-00 samco y hose and job done.

it does actually show this on the guide.put an ad in the wanted section,i bought mine off of a member on here as i originally had the sti5/p1 tmic in place,so i had the same issue.

 

lol, well i thought the P1 intercooler was a 99/00 type ???

also it states in the in the guide to use approx 450mm of the samco superflex,i used the full 500mm length and it was alot better,so dont go chopping that samco,use the whole length of what ive sold u.

 

the pipes that fit to the underside are different.i bought mine for £12 so noubt major

 

sell the sti5 tmic u have complete with the pipework,and then sell the sti8 pipework for about 25 on the bay.

 

u just need the 2 small pipes from the uk 99-00 spec tmic and the samco/prodrive y hose(my99-00)
