IIRC, when people fit the v.3/4 or v.5/6 TMIC mod to their ph.1 cars, I remember people saying you have to cut down the IC-to-TB short pipe by at least 10mm to make the ph.1.5/2 TMIC fit in the shallower IM-to-bulkhead space on the ph.1.
So to answer your question, this implies that the ph.1.5/2 IMs must have a TB at least 10mm further forward (towards the front of the car) than the ph.1 IM (not sure on the exact amount of extra clearance though...)
