IHI VF-34 Turbo
What work is needed to be done in fitting this to a 01 Bugeye Wrx ?

old turbo off, new turbo on, fuel pump, injectors and remap
or minimum fit it and remap

I was told it was a direct replacement but surely it cant be that easy can it ?

That's why its called a "direct" replacement
- its like for like on all fittings and hoses.
There may be things to delay you like seized bolts.

If you hve td, then you will need a different oil feed.

It NEEDS bigger injectors unless you are going to run it so low on boost so as to make it worthless as an upgrade. (and a remap)
The ideal would be an STI TMIC along with the turbo, injectors and a new walbro 255 fuel pump - remapped that should be a lovely car

Im running one of these with fmic,ecutek remap and 650cc injectors
