Default 2002 Bug Eye Sti Suspension unit fit Classic?

I have the opportunity to buy 2002 Sti bug eye suspension units. Does anyone know if they will fit my 1998 classic?

I cannot confirm this myself however this has been brought up a few times and I do recall someone having successfully fitted newage STi suspension to a classic.
