shouldn't need to change wires round, 1 wire might have to be cut to prevent radio fuse blowing, only thing I am unsure of is the abs light, if it works oposite you will have to fit a relay to reverse the circuit. I fitted hawkeye clocks in an 03 wrx and I had to modify the abs circuit also grounded a wire to disable the dif temp warning light loads of info on this link.

But as WR1 is pre 2005 I presume just clip the one wire and ground the connection for the Diff temp sensor and all will work ok.

Right i have put them in there is only one light that stays on and thats the rear diff temp everything else is off that is the only warning light on so all seems ok then? just one thing tho now when i turn the ignition off and lock the car the key symbol light is flashing this might have done it before but never noticed is this ok? i could just put the old clocks in but i thought that somebody on here will know

Isn't the key symbol the immobiliser warning, for would-be TWOCers? It is on mine, UK classic.

Just went outside and looked through the window on my Hawkeye STI, red key is flashing , as Alcazar said it is there to warn twocers that the car is immobilised.
