Default type ra engine

hi can anyone tell me the visual differences between a closed deck ra engine and a normal wrx engine i know they have a 5th injector were is that situated thanks

some closed decks dont have the 5th injector and visualy the closed deck has a crosshatvh marking above the cam sensore on the block but visually from looking standin up at the hood they look the same , internally though they are completely different , i just sold one

Only the STI closed deck engines are different, a wrx ra engine is no different internally, the "5th injector" isnt connected (not used on road cars), thats the only difference.

Some early WRX's have CDB as well. All the internals are the same. Easiest way to tell is to look for the crosshatching on the block (poke around with a torch!!).
