HELP. i have a 1993 scooby wrx sti, stalled whilst running in garge, now wont start, but have a spark, got fuel, she backfiring, done the in car diagnostics under the dash, coming up with no faults- any ideas??????? PLEASE IAN.

Blocked air filter?
And it wont be an MY93 STI as they didnt come out until 1994 so its either a wrx or its a year newer.

does the car have an old immobiliser that some one has not removed properly?
