Default Air conditioning problem

I have a problem with the AC. When I press the button nothing happens i.e. no compressor sound to indicate it's on.

I have checked the fuse and it seems ok. I have also checked the relay and it seems to be ok.

Maybe its the compressor? not sure what else to check?

any ideas?

cheers
Shailan

Does the light come on in the switch?

With ignition on but engine not running, do the fans come on when the AC is turned on?

When was the AC last serviced? As stated by Tidgy, it may need a regas.
