a ub has 11.47psi
the z4 12.73psi

a little better performance too

you said "mines" do you mean the z4 ecu has a mines chip fitted? if so i wouldnt bother with the mines chip. its too agressive for even 99ron fuel. take the chip out, reconnect the j1 resistor and run with the z4 as it is if i were you.

if its the z4 thats chiped. id just sell the z4 & put the chip in the u8.
z4 ecu's are worth more standard mate.

due to the higher psi from standard

it makes no odds if you use the u8 or the z4 for your esl board. you can remove the chip from the u8 and fit esl.

no, thats wrong mate. both them ecus are the same once chipped. the z4, once chiped. reads one the map thats placed on it. the u8 is an import ecu the same.
just take the chip/eprom out the u8, & put the esl live map board in

whos mapping it for you, ask them and they should say about the same mate
