High pitched squeal?
On my Scooby there's a squealing sound that seems to show itself when the car's warmed up. As i'm going along the car squeals as the steering wheel reaches a certain point, just right of centre and seems to get worse. If i steer past the point it stops and as i turn it back it starts again as i reach the middle point. Is it the steering rack?

Power steering belt? Try turning onto full lock when the car has just been started up, if you get any judder at close to full lock, then have a look at the condition of the belt. Mine started to split lengthways down the belt. Have a feel down the inside, of course when the car is not running.

Easiest thing is to remove the fanbelt and try to make the noise happen. If you can't then it will be either a loose/old belt or the power steering pump. Check also the ATF level in the resevoir.
