STEERING WHEEL CHANGE
Hi everyone, looking for some advice on something thta might not be so usual! I have damaged my STI Steering wheel on my blob eye, im looking to get a replacement but wondering the difficulties of fitting?? any advice would be good??
if ur going like for like then simple off and on, disconnect the battery, leave for a little time, 30mins to make sure the airbag dosnt go off. that is if ur has an air bad.
Remove the nut and pull the wheel off, it may be stuck on pretty tight on the splines but it will come off.
if you are going after market wheel then a boss kit is needed.

Tip: If the wheel is stuck on pretty good, then when you undo the castle nut, don't remove it completely, but spin it back onto the thread for about 5 turns. That way, then when you try to force the wheel off by yanking hard, or with a soft mallet on the reverse side, the nut will prevent the wheel from coming all the way off and smashing into your face.
