Default Harvey Smith Ported headers\Up pipe and Bob Rawle remap

Big thumbs up for Harvey Smith Ported headers\Up pipe and Bob Rawle road remap. Had the work carried out on my 03 STI. Very professional service. I had a problem with my fuel pump, rather than send me away Harvey and Bob fitted a new one so they could continue with my mapping session. Excellent results, great experience. Can't recommend them enough. The car pulls quicker, longer and harder. Many thanks to them.

What sort of figures did you gain with the headers?

Ported headers will give very noticeable gains in torque and give quicker spool up, not sure they will directly help get more bhp

Very true.
I fitted a set about two weeks ago then had a map tweak by JGM. Only gained 5bhp but did gain 33ftlb of torque. Def worthwhile mod, it's very noticeable on a mildy tuned road car. You really need the map tweak though to get the best.
Was just wondering what gains other folk had from Harveys headers & up pipe on their own.

Recently fitted Harvey's up-pipe to my GT Spec tubular headers. BIG gains in spool and mid-range torque. Highly recommended

I have his mobile number, but don't like to give it out without his say-so.
Tried a PM on here? He posts as harvey.

Can't see why not, but send harvey a PM for the definitive answer.

Oh, and it's not a good idea to dig up an old thread and tag a question on the bottom, it often won't get an answer, or not for ages.

If harvey reads this thread can you please check your emails (and junk emails as unsure my emails have gone through) - trying to purchase some headers/up-pipe

Cheers
