Have ALL my coil packs failed?
i have a 95 wrx wagon and car doesn't run after ive been out the contry for 5 weeks...
plugs are wet so fuel and crank/cam sensors are good
ive probed in the 'ignitor' or 'ignition amplifier' and it seems to be earthing the earth side of the coil when cranked, but when the coil and plug is put to the block, there's no spark, just a small streak of smoke, as if there's not enough voltage to jump the gap.
just seems odd how they all could go down at once, 1 idea i have is that the car was kept in a body shop, so had to be moved outside every day, so the battery became flat, and i wouldn't put it past em to have connected the jump pack up the wrong way... could this have fried all 4 coils?
