Default dump valve t-piece

i am in the process of fitting a newage wrx intercooler into my 97 classic and having little prob with dump valve.where it sits in my car there is a huge valve and rubber pipe in the way so was looking at getting the elbow from a spare i/c and having it welded in place so i can just fit my baileys d/v again.
i was wondering though if i could just put an alloy t-piece in the y-pipe from the i/c to the turbo and run d/v off of that???

I wouldnt put a t piece in with a d/valve on between the turbo and cooler mate, the d/valve should be as close to the tb as poss. Get some pics up to show what you mean as im not quite sure . You must ne able to make a take off for the d/valve tho off the new cooler.

i have just got hold of another standard i/c and going to cut the elbow that takes the d/v off and have it welded to the wrx i/c.shouldnt cost that much and can fit my old d/v again that sounds lovely.
will bung some pics up when its finished.
