Paint in engine bay

Hi
My dad has just got himself a 02 bugeye sti in light blue, but we've just notice that the engine bay and under the bonnet is a darker blue. Does this sound ok?

Hi Wiseyd, tell your dad that there is nothin 2 worry about. the car colour is mica blue or wrc blue, but the engine bay is always dark blue.
