Default hks induction kits

hey all, is there a benefit to fitting an hks induction kit to my 2002 sti type uk? what are the MAFs like on the newage cars to the older ones and would i get any problems?
i will be getting a re map but not till next year so would it be ok?

the hks doesn't filter very well.. allows small particles through.

I would stick with standard airbox until you fit a front mounted intercooler on newage sti..

Large K&N cone filter on my Hyperflow intake, seems o.k. after a year or so.

Can't speak for the standard HKS filter, but I have had the Racing Suction one on for about 2 years without any issue.

most high flow filters allow small particles through due to the nature of the filter's

the hks and the blitz let through more than most though..

apexi are fairly good followed by k&n.
