Default 3 cats??? dear me whats going on!

alrite guys, am i correct in thinking that my 93 wrx has 3 cats?? i cannt see one under the car so i guess there are is one on each downpipe???

where can i get the de-cats for them and will it make any improvement?? cheers

only one i think on an import> the centre section is a resonator from memory> only the new age wrx's had 3. one in the up-pipe,one in down pipe and there is only one down pipe and one in second section> Yours at max will have 2> Decats can be bought from all the tuning companies.

Yes a decat makes a nice difference but you should have the car re-mapped for max benifit

Ummmm no you only have 1 in the downpipe (you only have 1 downpipe as well),the centre section is a resonator (on all the early cars i've seen anyway)

Your car ,for the mo, is also allowed an easier emisisions test so you don't have to put the cat back on for the MOT.
