Default remap once fitted six speed box

will i need a remap once ive fitted my six speed box as ive doen the converstion from 5 speed to six speed

if it has been mapped already it would be worth getting it checked as 6th maybe higher geared than 5th was.. you haven't said whether boxes are JDM or UK etc..

Also if boost control is setup for independent gear control it would need altering..
