Default Hawkeye sti engine into bugeye

Can anybody give me advice? Would my 2001 wrx gearbox be compatable with a Hawkeye engine or would I need to change the gearbox and diffs too?

It's all about the electronics.... intact the STI motor needs an ecu to operate the AVCS, and your clutch may not be up to the job. Otherwise fine.

IMHO

P.S. Don't forget the brakes.....

Has anyone done this?
Ive been thinking about putting a hawkeye WRX engine into my bugeye wrx, but i think they have avcs aswell so may just have to swap the bottom end over.
