Default 400 bhp please

Hi, my o3 blob sti is currently running 345 bhp, PPP with a remap , im now thinking i would like to take it up to 400, but would like to keep a few things as they are, such as defo the tmic and the sti injectors and the prodrive b/box really. If i went to a full decat, different turbo (which one ? )
and an induction kit and another remap ,what could i expect from that set up .
p.s , if you fit a full decat ,would it pass the MOT after a remap ? if not could you refit the smaller middle cat for a pass ? Cheers Rob.

No de-cat will pass, you need a "friendly" MOT tester....

MD321H, unequal length headers, 3" de-cat, Fuelab FPR, re-map by JGM = 392 bhp.

HTH

P.S. 4 bar static fuel pressure needed with std. injectors.

3major 1 minor improvements Id say (dont worry about your tmic , it's all good as is)
A better turbo(md321h or af 20g), cold air intake and a de-cat downpipe( your car WILL fail MOT, you'll need to change your downpipe back to original for it to pass MOT), you'll need a re-map afterwards of course
Minor upgrade is your solenoid , Id go for a three-port solenoid(no need for a boost pressure regulator)
That's it.

Thanks for replying peeps, just got the standard 03 sti injectors ,not sure of colour not looked that close, how much extra bhp does a full decat get you over the 100 cell prodrive one then ? If i were to fit just the turbo you've suggested and a decent induction kit and the couple of bits + remap and just leave the prodrive d/pipe would that be good for 380- 390 ?

Another thread where everyone is going to give a different opinion.

MD321T will give over 400 with lower cost than the V.
No need for a FPR if fitting 800cc injectors.
No need for a FMIC unless going a good bit over 400.

Everyone does it different though and theres in harm future proofing if more power is wanted in the future, then it really does cost ££££££
