Hi there, just a quickie... change cambelt now or later on 2004 (sept) sti 23 000 miles.

Just asked local subaru dealers the same question on an 05 sti with 21000.
He said no immediate hurry he wouldn't think.

For peace of mind though i'm thinkin of getting it done anyway.

I think you are right whats the difference we gotta shell out sooner or later I guess...would just prefer later! Mine just had an oil change service and the dealer didnt mention that it needed doing, I noticed it in the service book after I got home. I´m not sure still! May just leave it... then again the engine rebuild...!
