Default Max BHP on Standard '05 Sti Heads

Anyone know what kind of power standard '05 2.0l Sti type UK heads can support (standard heads with standard cams)? Have just read that subaru moved to small port heads on the '02 to '05 sti, can anyone confirm this? Anyone had over 450bhp out of standard '02-'05 newage heads on pump fuel?

Cheers Dave

Several std 2.0 STI motors have made over 450 bhp with bolt-on mods. So probably manage 500 bhp depending on the turbo choosen ?

IMHO

I have the same heads as you Dave on my 2002 sti.

Theyre small port sti heads with stock cams and AVCS. I dont plan on doing any changes to them flow wise on my 2.5 build.

Im aiming for the 500 area and as far as im aware they should be able to make this without too much issue.
