Default avcr problems

hi all my boost has dropped down to .5 bar from 1.4 .... ive noticed that on the manual gauge in the car it registers .5 boost but on the avcr there is nothing it dosnt move but the revs etc. do also i noticed i cant hear the solenoid clicking any more any advise please as cant think of anything except the solenoid and cant find one of those

Take it you have a new age STI then?
Limp mode.
Dealer to reset your ecu and check the avcr is working correctly.

sounds like its overboosted ect.. got knock and went into limp

it can't go into limp mode he has an AVCR fitted

I presume there is an issue with the wiring to or plumbing to the AVCR map sensor or 3port solenoid in the engine bay. Or the map sensor vac hose has come off
