injectors???
I have recently found that one of the injectors on my MY98 uk 2000 is black on the top and i think it is broken so ordered to secound hand ones from a scooby owner, the ones that i have are grey on the top so am assuming that these are the standard injectors for my car, the ones that came have yellow heads on them and are obviously wrong with them being a diff colour, what my question is, is this what are the yellow injectors from, are these the ones that are 440cc and if so why wont they fit my car as the inlet manifold stops them from sitting in the fuel rail please help am a bit lost as to whether to buy two more yellow ones or just get a grey one again??

However, bigger injectors will need a remap and I'm not sure how you manage that on the standard ECU. I changed my ECU when I changed the injectors - so was able to get it remapped.
Probably best to sell the 440s and get a 380. I would send you one of mine but I trashed them getting them out

I guess it will run too rich - I'm not sure if that can be changed on the standard ECU - maybe someone has a view on that ?.
But if you go down a new ECU and remap route - it's a lot more £££££££s than just getting some second hand 380s
