hi i wonder if you can help i have a citroen saxo 1.6 16v it is running a gt28rs and one of your f40 external wastegate the car is front wheel drive and quite light so traction can be an issue
i am having a few issues with boost control i originally had a small blue spring and planned to have the 0.6bar as a base and then progress the boost up with my standalone management (GEMS EM36) but i couldn't get any control from it at all, i have it piped up as on your tech diagrams using a turbosmart 3 port solenoid but no joy
so i scrapped this idea and fitted a 1 bar spring now i have the control with the 3 port solinoid and its stopped the surge etc... but getting the power down is a waste of time i have 100hp @ the wheels 3500rpm and at 4000rpm i have 300hp+ @ wheels as you can imagine its totally unsutable for anything but the drag strip
do you think if i use a standalone electronic boost control with a 4 port solinoid like a turbosmart e-boost2 or something i could go back to the 0.600 bar spring and progress up to probably 2-2.2 bar like this?
if so what manufactures do you recommend i can only find the turbosmart one but im sure there will be plenty out there?
Thanks
Si
