i got a 2002 s t i prodrive it will run ok for a while then starts to misfire and smoke a lot especially when i put my foot down a bit .sometimes at junctions it'll stall.ticks over tidy but when at a junction the revs cut right down it either stalls or the revs go back up and then back to normal tried a maf today not that any help gratefully accepted

boost leak maybe. a hole that will expand when under load and cause your problems. this will cause air leak and then when you slow down not enough air in the system it will stall?

when i put my foot down theres like a wooshing air noise sounds like drivers side of intercooler .took intercooler off today but can't see any split pipes

checked all pipes under intercooler today all tight yes it is a t m i c

you wouldnt but your mind maybe playing tricks because you know something is wrong? it happens alot when things go wrong.

check plug and see how they are but i would say if its not a pipe then check your dv and vacuum pipes
