hi all can some one tell me what version as in 4 5 or 6 for example impreza have i got its a uk turbo 2000 xreg 2000 year thanks and could some one tell me what coulor ingectors i have and what type of better ecu will plug strait in with out remap for more power thanks guys any help will be very helpfull.

 

You havent got any version as the 'version' tag was reserved for classic shape STi's.You have an MY00 Impreza which will have yellow top 440cc injectors.There are no direct plug and play ecus that don't require mapping.

 

Your car is UK Import. Only the Japanese versions carried out v1-v6 tags.

 

thanks alot for the replys also if i put a td05 turbo on will this be ok as i think iv got a 04 turbo on and would like an 05 will it be better or to much lag thanks

 

If you just bolt a TD05 on without getting it remapped, it'll probably blow itself up within a fairly short period of time. If you get it remapped properly and make no other modifications, you'll probably be in the region of 320bhp, at the cost of later spool and a bit more lag.

 

You can plug another ecu without a remap, i have the sti prodrive ecu on mine, but you also need intercooler pipework and de cat center section as the map accounts for these i think.

You'll get about 260bhp max with 99 ron but the torque figure is the biggest jump which makes the car alot more punchier in the midrange.
