Coil pack problem

My coil pack is cracked, will the v 5 , v6 coil pack will fit my v 3 sti?

I thought V3 was manifold mounted coil pack, not plug top coils like V1/2 and v5->? so no.

The v.5/6 does have a separte coilpack module (mounted on the IM - but off to the passenger side, a bit).

Don't know whether the MY99/00 v.5/6 CP module is the same as a MY97/98 v.3/4 one, though(?)...
