I have noticed that under hard acceleration that there is a fair bit of smoke coming from the exhaust when i put my foot down, but then doesnt smoke as much after that, does this mean the turbo is on its way out?

 

I think the turbo would smoke more at idle.

Black you may have gotten away with but blue normally means oil, and oil being burnt isn't good
You need to take your car to a reputable garage and have it inspected, be warned you may be due for a very large bill

Some cars do smoke a fair bit when there driven hard with a lot of acceleration. Depends alot on how there mapped. Does the car use any oil?

mine for one smokes a fair amount when giving it some beans. but never burns a drop of oil and i know its mapped rich though the high load,high boost bits of the map

 

Ill keep an eye on it then
