steering wheel problems

H i there can any one tell me how to get a a steering wheel out of a N reg WRX import. i have taken the nut off but wont budge

put the nut back on slightly so you dont hit your self in the mouth then give it a bit of a bashing and a good tug and it should come off.
needs a bit of brute force if it's been on since new.
