had loads of problems with the forge one (i bought it from them as they are only a mile away). we tried different springs allsorts, caused a lot of idling/stalling problems, and the seals went on one eventually... Using a bailey evo now, chepaer, not as good noise, but no idling probs!

You say in your fitting guide that a lot of strength is required to remove the old DV cause the tubes are stiff.
This is what I thought till I dicovered that when warm they become *much* softer. Perhaps you could to your guide as a hint/tip to warm the engine slightly first - not too hot of course!! You deffo should not resort to cutting pipework, that's completely wrong advice.
