Is my clutch dying?
Not having much luck with the old girl lately(but thats another thread gufaw!).
When i go to drive off from standing a good few times i'm hearing a clunking type noise. Sounds like a metal plate falling on the ground if you know what i mean. It has maybe juddered more than normal lately but apart form that feels ok??
Is my clutch about to say nighty night or is it something else?.
Any comments let me know.

That sounds like "something else". Clutch on its way out you'll know, because you'll feel and see it slipping - revs rise but speed doesn't, even though your foot's not on the pedal.
What you're describing sounds more like something's come loose and is shunting back and forth. Not the sort of thing you want to leave to fester, so if you're not up to having a look yourself, worth popping down dealer/specialist/tidy garage and asking them to have a look.

Sticking handbrake shoes ?
Tired rear subframe bushes allowing it to "knock" on the body.
If your clutch is suspect find a decent hill and floor it in top gear, mine slipped at around 4000 rpm.
