Default GT35r owners in here please..

Following on from bartops thread thought it would be good to start this as i see a few people are fitting these now.

I am in the process of having a GT3582r hta hybrid fitted so looking forward to the results

I know there are quite a few models of the GT35 out there.

So get your GT35r spec's up

I will get mine up as soon as the car is up and running

cool,, wasn't sure what the hta hybrid meant?

recently done a couple of cars.. 3 thinknig about it on GT35R with the .63 housing rather than the .82 you are referring to.. ie. smaller turbo.. 582bhp on one, 540 on another and 542bhp on the other one with lots more to come as there was a minor issue with the car.

So you should be looking at 600~630 etc.. depending on how everything gels together.

2.35 or 2.5?

How do they compare to the 30/40 Simon. I know of a cheap gt35 but nut sure if it's worth the hassle of swapping it over and having it remapped. 2.33 with stock sti 5 heads if it matters.

More power at the expense of drivablity? It's a roadcar so area under the graph is more important than peak power.

Did not get chance to map for v power alone but the car is going back soon for a few adjustments and will map for v power on its own for comparison.

I run one as well, since 2001! Only a stroked 2.2l, standard STi cams, WRX heads and manifold. I was running with a .82 but never got it properly mapped or dynoed. With the 0.63 housing it was mapped to 440 whp at 1.8bar on 100 octane pump fuel. So my guess is about 540-550bhp. I am sure with the 0.82 would be 600bhp. I have just ordered a GT3071 as i need response rather than big bhp. I nice responsive 450-480bhp would be perfect.

If it was a circuit or drag car, the GT35 is perfect, but for tight, twisty roads it is simply too big on a 2l or 2.2l
