Default Benefits of mafless setup?

Hi, just wondered if there was a performance benefit running a mafless system? Or is it more for installation benefits and safety(maf damage).
I have the option to go mafless now on the esl, is it worth it on a MY95 at 335bhp?

Thanks, Mit

not to sure on your MY95, I went mafless on 'my' MY99 as these later ones were known for being fragile

If like me you take your car high altitude, say like up in the Alps for your snowboard holiday, you too will **** yourself when your car does not work and you worry the whole time about getting home. Hahahaha, if only i knew then what i know now.

Less of a restriction for airflow is one Bonus & further scaling can be achieved.
And of course as mentioned, No fragility ....
