Default Identifying internals

Hi, this may sound silly, but can i identify what rods/pistons i have without stripping the engine?
Is it possible to remove the sump and oil plate to see anything?

Thanks, Mit

You can see the rods and underside of the pistons with the sump and windage tray off - would narrow it down a bit.

Thanks, may give it a go. I need to settle my mind, see if they are standard or not.
