Default CLUNK............!!!!!!!!

IM REALLY STARTING TO GET FRUSTRATED TO HELL NOW...
IVE GOT THIS PROBLEM THAT WHEN I REVERSE IT MAKES THIS HORRIBLE CLUNKING NOISE WHEN BRAKING AND OBVIOUSLY AINT RIGHT... IT DOESNT HAPPEN WHEN GOING FORWARD ONLY IN REVERSE

ANY IDEAS PEOPLE IM AT MY WITS END WITH IT NOW.....

can you tell if its comming from the front or the rear, have you tried reversing it with the handbrake on slightly does that make a difference.

ITS DEFINATELY COMIN FROM THE FRONT M8, JUST GOT NO IDEA WOT IT COULD BE..

have you checked the condition of the brake disc's and pads are all the retaining clips in place for the pads. is it a clunk or lots of clunks.

the brakes are all new and the clips. Ive had these checked and there is nothing wrong with them...

its not just 1 clunk its a few...

doing me head in now aint got a clue what it can be...

just had a thought might not be a good one but a thought all the same, is the dog bone (rear engine mount under the intercooler) all nice and tight, bushes not nackard?

ive changed the drop link on the drivers side,but still does it.
i'll check the engine mount fittings at the weekend..
