Injectors, which way???
Hi there, have recently bought a 94 wrx as a bit of a project, had an oil leak and a couple of little bits needed. Have discovered it's got a legacy engine in it to start with, as the coil packs are two bolt, but am now having trouble getting it running after taking inlet manifold off to clean it all up.
As far as we (me and my subaru owning friend) can tell, everything is back as it should be but we are unsure of whether the injectors are plugged in the right way round. Should it be dark grey at the front of the engine or light grey connectors? It seems to start no matter which way they are connected but sounds very rough, apart from this, what else could be the problem. Just getting frustrated now as it drove fine all the way back from Felixstowe! Help!

Yeah it did get taken off, but was put back exactly where the screw marks were; how could this affect the rough idle? Don't know a great deal about engines, so any help appreciated!
