Default classic fan over run, how to??

i want the fans to keep going for 5mins after i turn the engine off what do i need to do this

why?????
do you have a cooling problem,or just for peace of mind..
what benefits would this give?

ive got a power fc mabe i shud of asked then lol just want it because its better than it sitting there. peace of mind, i like to over kill things

For one thing, you would probably need a fairly big battery. Fans place quite a big drain on the battery.

Secondly there is no benefit from having the fan on when the engine is off. The coolant won't be circulating so all you will cool will be what is in the radiator and not what's in the engine as I imagine you want.

The airflow flowing over the engine also won't do much as anyone who has ever run out of coolant can attest to.

So might be something cool to do but won't get you much benefit.

that makes sence reali i wud have them everytime i stop but they come in when water themp gets to91 so i'll leave it cheers for thecommon sence. was trying to avoid my cooling down routeen after a drive oh well no pain no gain. i'll have to count the bricks in my garage every nite lol

will put a thread up on my gauges when all are fitted....
only 3 fitted so far....afr exh temp a boost
takes ages wiring them up and fusing every red
and looks a a christmas tree already.might just stop now before
or just keep going
look out later as will be asking the question should i or should,nt i
