Hi there, need to replace the front passenger wing ( damaged by a failed attempt to steal my car ) its a MY96 JDM sti Wagon, ive done lots of mechanical work in the past but never replaced any body panels , is it bolted on all around or is there some welded bits hidden from view ?

Nothing welded -
to be removed are the following:
5 bolts on the inner wing
2 below the A post and you need to have the passenger door open to see them - there is also a small screw at the very bottom of the wing close to the sill.
You'll have to take the sidelight out completely and disconnect the wiring plug
this will reveal 2 more bolts which fit into the headlight casing - once these are removed the wing can be taken off

simple job to do really
