My car lately has had a tendency to bog down when cold, most of the sensors and all coil packs aren't that old the only thing i can think of is the spark plugs are in need of changing.

Would i be right in assuming this, she did run very rich for a while all sorted now of course.

If I tried to boot mine when cold, it holds back on the boost (I don't do it - just the once to see what happened). I'm sure it's normal and the ECU is just detecting that it's not safe for max boost by info from all the sensors, etc. Is this what you're experiencing, or do you mean it's bogging down when just cruising along off boost?

Yeah, prob something to do with the igniton system. The fuelling off boost should be perfect due to the Lamda doing its thang.

What about the MAF though?

Or, also if the Lambda's shagged and stuck at low voltage, then you could be running too rich, which can cause hesititation/bogging I think.

She has pfr7b's and the lambda sensor has just been replaced, could be her running rich for so long has upset her so a few cobwebs are in need of blowing out and she needs time to settle down perhaps?

No maf as she runs a simtek fitted less than a year ago by jgm so no issues there.

I'll just change the plugs anyway im sure they're in need of it, failing that i'll try the knock sensor everything else is nearly new anyway.

Cheers

Try resetting the ECU first. It's free to do after all and, who knows, it might start driving better afterwards...
