Default Insulating A Intercooler Pipe

I want to insulate the intercooler pipe that goes over the turbo on a FMIC kit as i imagine it can get quite warm, what would be the best thing to use and where could i get it from

You want the reflective (silver) sleeving, get the correct size and it wll slide over the hose, you want it slightly 'baggy' to create an airgap.

Don't lag the hard pipes from the turbo compressor to the core. Heat is being lost here to the surroundings even though you expect the under bonnet temperature to be higher. On boost, where it counts the compressor air can reach 200C, far higher than the temperature under the bonnet, even neat the turbo cross over. Lagging the turbo exhaust housing would be more effective.
You can also lag the hard pipe from the core to the throttlebody to keep the cold air from being warmed after it leaves the FMIC.
