MY96 FMIC question
If i go FMIC i need to get a remap, but as i see it you can not remap my Z4 ecu. Would this mean i need to get an aftermarket ecu too?
If so that makes it an expensive operation.

you have a few options you can go for
polar performance chip (not e bay chips!!!!!!!!) cheapest safe option
esl live daughter board (JGM, ANDY FOREST,ETC) best value option as you can remap for any future mods and you keep all safety features the factory ecu has and thats never a bad thing ! thats what i did
apexi
or big money motec, simtec,etc
