Default helllp overheating problem

Car over heated on way to trafford after i stopped for fuel.

Topped up about a litre and was ok at 70mph, as soon as i slowed down car overheated.

Weird thing was when i sat in traffic and revved it, it went down to 90 degrees then as soon as i let it idle it overheated.

Have taken water pump off and it seems ok, tstat opens in hot water fine and cant see any signs of leaks. ??

Any ideas
Thanks.

Might be an airlock, or maybe a leak somewhere if you've had to top it up a lot recently

I got all my gaskets etc from Roger Clark Motorsport - Home maybe they can help you with your broken part too.

Finally sorted it out after two sniffer tests headgasket was gone.

Work done by John Hillas Engineering.

Thanks for replies.
