when you put a diffrent coded gear box on you probably will need the rear diff to match the ratios, needs cheaking anyway i would of thought

I'm guessing that'll fit, but it's a 6-speed box instead of 5.

The 6AA is a UK box the same as the 5AA so you should not have any rear diff issues they are both 3.54 it is from the early 2.5lt WRX's. You will need new drive shafts as this box does not have the stub shafts coming out of the box as in the other 754 and 752 boxes. This box requires the male ended shafts. Pic below of the 7AA but the shafts on the 6AA are the same.

This is the best of the 5 speed boxes and the strongest one so far. They have been holding up well with cars producing over 400lbs ft, it has been reengineered as can be seen from the casing which is significantly wider around the drive shaft output area. Good choice of replacement. You may struggle to get shafts though I did it took nearly 3 months to get a set at a decent price and then found the box I had was a 7AA which uses a pull clutch set up - bummer. Hope this helps
