That's what I've got, in anticipation of 450+/450+...it's a very easy drive but there's something not right with the design IMHO.

The biting point is very low to the floor, meaning you have to push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor, especially when engaging 1st or 2nd at low speed. It's something I can live with but not ideal.

Helix themselves looked at it and said it was OK, but neither I nor Subaru4You are convinced that it is quite right.

I don't think the Helix kit has been out long, so there may well be some revisions to come.

Interesting, we have fitted 3 so far and all have been perfect.

The first one that was fitted was faulty and wouldn't release at all. Turned out to be out of tolerance.

Maybe there was a bad batch? Or there's something subtley different on a JDM 6 speed assembly? Wouldn't have thought so though.

But, as I say, I can live with it, and it has been improving with the passage of time.

I don't know what Helix do, but Exedy certainly have a different clutch for the 5, and the 6 speed.

We haven't fitted a 5 speed version yet, all have been 6 speed box equipped cars.
Will most likely fit one when I convert mine to a 6 speed, just waiting for the stock Sti 5 box to give up the ghost.
