Default cambelt cover

hi guys i no it say 94 to 97 an i have a facelift. my00. why wont these fit. was there somethin different between these years as i need a cover
SUBARU CAMBELT COVERS. 94-97 on eBay (end time 28-Aug-09 21:45:54 BST)

i know that the timing belt tentioner changed after them years stated, but duno really. il compare my my00 covers inthe garage to the pics and see if mine have diffrent bulges/cut outs etc in the morning if it helps?

The best way I can describe it is that the ones pictured (94-97) on each end have two "inney" type nipple looking thing's (where pulley wheels are) and the later classic cars have two "outey" type nipple looking thing's (where pulley wheels are) on each end. Probably not enough clearance on these for your pulley wheels. Not sure if theres any other differences but that's the one I noticed between my mates 99 and my 96 classic's covers. Sorry for poor description but it is late

yes the pully mouldings are diffrent

Yea deffo won't fit, not with all the will in the world.

The camshaft sprockets will foul the covers.

ok thanks for the advice guys. such little mods on the engines to make parts that little different not to fit. i will wait for 1 that comes up. thanks for help guys saved me a few bob there
