07 plate with PPP - far too quiet
Hi all, I've recently bought myself an 07, 2.5 wrx and the first thing I had fitted was a PPP, but I'm surprised at how quiet it is. I had 2 new age 2.0 wrx imprezas before, which I had TSL centre sections and a scoobysport back box, which sounded lovely together.
Now I know there are a couple of factors here, the TSL centre section removed the second CAT, and the 2.0 engine was more off beat than the 2.5 is.
What I'm wondering is, should I replace the PPP centre sections, which have what I assume is a sports CAT, as there's defiantely still what appears to be a CAT in that section. And if so, will it upset the remaping of the PPP ? I know it won't sound like the old 2.0 engine, but a bit more noise would be good !
Any advice would be great, thanks
Darren

Hi mate, I've also got 2.5wrx with ppp. Prodrive don't fit a sports cat on the 2.5s,so you still have a standard cat in the down pipe. But they do remove the front cat and replace it with a straight through pipe. I wanted more burble like you, so had visit to tsl and they replaced the rear centre section (resonator) with a straight through section and added a firestorm backbox. Now it burbles i promise you mate.
